SUMMER FUN

Here's another card for http://www.dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/. The theme for this one was Summer Fun. My granddaughter was over for the weekend and had a blast with a red umbrella and the rain (she had on only a pair of shorts over her diaper, so for decency sake :) my stamp is clothed hahaha). She is also obsessed with ducks , baby ducks to be exact, we have a pond that has a family of ducks which she has named ,mama duck, baby duck and dadda duck. Anyway , with that said, this digi " who needs an umbrella " by di's digis, says it all about summer for me (so far ).I used an older paper from memory box, ribbon, glossy accents, colored pencils, metal dots and metal flowers by coorbok, spellbinders' "lacy squares" and paper pieced the umbrella. Hope you like it.

A working Saturday

I have to work Saturday morning, so my DT projects have to wait till Sunday to be worked on. I did however finish work on the challenge at Dutch Dare card challenge . I will have to post it tomorrow sometime.
I spent today cleaning and ironing ( yes , I iron . Approximately 15 shirts, several slacks and capris and blouses.) and a little card making. Then my husband and I went to look for deck furniture, a recent hail storm destroyed so much property, and deck furniture was one of them. So I have full coverage replacement insurance and went and replaced it. Next is the roof, gutters, some windows, the deck, garage door and vents on the roof.
I should be back tomorrow or Sunday , till then happy 4th to all my American friends, enjoy your weekend to all.
Smiles,
Lisa

RED WHITE AND BLUE

Hi all,

I just completed my July challenge for http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/. I have a very sweet but ornery
Boston Terrier named Teucer ( pronounced two-sir). That picture was taken the day my husband brought him home to me as a Christmas present, too sweet eh? well he lives up to his breed of TERROR (or terrier aif you will) He is 4 years old now still sweet but terribly active.LOL

Just a little bit of what I enjoy doing , hope you enjoy looking.

After doing a little bit of alot of different crafts I have gone back to what I have always loved. I enjoy coloring , drawing and designing pictures. And thanks to the love and (prodding) of my DH, I am where I belong and am more happy .
